About Me
About Me
I was born with a restless mind that makes me intensely adventurous with an intrinsic need to explore. Growing up, I loved playing with Legos, but I also loved to take things apart to soothe the constant curiosity. My parents were soon reluctant to buy me new toys, as any purchase would usually end up in pieces. However, it wasn’t until I took a woodshop class in middle school that I discovered a feeling of satisfaction in building things that I wasn’t able to find anywhere else. There’s no better feeling than holding a finished product and being able to say, “I made that.” I have been in the shop ever since.
I discovered Industrial Design as a freshman in college; and as I went through each year of classes, I fell in love with it more and more. Since then, I’ve arranged many aspects of my life to meet this intrinsic need to explore and create. My education has equipped me with the necessary tools and ability to develop ideas into a reality.
I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, because I believe these moments of solitude help us decompress and disconnect from conventional thinking, thus sparking uncontrollable flames of creativity.
Resume
Objective
My senior project while at San Jose State is one of my biggest accomplishments as a designer. Although it was a long and challenging process, the motivation, passion, and help from my mentors made the entire process -from project proposal to the final design- one of the most enjoyable and satisfying projects on which I’ve ever worked. Even though my time in school is over, I’m looking to continue expanding my knowledge of design by working with effective mentors in a fast paced environment.
